How are you holding up?

I hope you're all safe and sound.

Like many of you, I'm sure, I have been staying busy at home.  And, while I have been ambitious about my house, I can't say the same about my personal care.  I've been rotating the same four articles of clothing for....well, too long.  My hair is starting to resemble Einstein's and, at the rate I'm eating, I'll be pushing the Covid 10 if this pandemic continues much longer.

I’ve organized every cabinet, drawer and closet.  I've weeded out clothing, shoes and expired canned goods.

NOW WHAT YOU ASK? MY LIVING ROOM.  I haven't changed my furniture since I purchased my home almost 14 years ago.  I decided to keep my gold sofa and sell all the red furnishings and decor on Facebook Marketplace.

I wanted a light, airy feel instead of this formal, staunchy look. This was a simple makeover so, I had to work around the gold walls and sofa.

I painted the ceiling blue.  I wish I had chosen a darker hue but, it works.

Not all of the items have arrived yet so, it's still a work in progress.  It's amazing how much lighter and fresher the room looks in person.

Amazing Streak-free Window Cleaner

I've shared this window cleaner solution in the past but, it's worth a repeat.  This is the best solution. 4 cups water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon of Dawn

Are you wondering if you can still list your house? While it's not ideal, people still have to move.  The upside is, inventory is very low so, you'll stand out in the market.  And, buyers who are looking are SERIOUS buyers. If you're getting ready to sell your house and you're looking for some ideas to freshen up your look, let's brainstorm, I'd love to help.

What have YOU been doing with your home time during coronageddon?  I'd love to hear or, better yet, see.  Log in and post a picture here.

I'll leave you with one of the funniest things I've read online regarding some stresses couples are experiencing during lockdown: Husband:  "I am no longer allowed to chew or swallow in her presence." Stay safe my friends!
